The couple called it a quits recently as they go in separate ways. They were not that depressed in breaking up, though they were together for about 5 years. They wished each other the best and they are grateful for the blessings they have shared. Many people think that McCarthy broke up with Carrey is because of their quite large age gap, but this is what she said, ""I think I'm going to rock at it and love the kid to pieces," she told us. "It doesn't bother me when people call me 'grandma.' I love nothing more in the world." Furthermore, she added, "I love Jim in any form. He could have no arms and no legs and I'll love the stump of him."
