NBA: D-League makes history


The NBA Development League has drawin 1 million fans for the first time, with the expansion team Maine Red Claws playing to a hundered percent capacity. This league started out on 2001 with only 8 teams and a few fans, and now it has 16 teams and has reached that 1 million fans mark, which are connected to the teams in the NBA. This is the league where players try to prove themselves worthy of playing in the big league. This is where players try to improve their skills and be more mature in playing the game. This project of the NBA couldn't be better for the basketball nation. Now, almost 200 D-League players were called up to play for the NBA in order to help the team win some championships.
